I’ve wanted to write a review about our UPPAbaby VISTA stroller for awhile now, but wanted to wait until we actually traveled with the MESA car seat bag and the VISTA stroller bag. We got them before our trip to Seattle and I’m SO HAPPY we did. Keep reading to see what we love most about the stroller and all of the details!

First of all, for every day use we LOVE the UPPAbaby VISTA stroller. We currently still use the MESA car seat in my car (Jett will be able to use it for maybe a few more weeks before he’s too tall) and the whole system is just so easy. We love using this stroller at the gym (we wheel it up and park it outside of the kids daycare), for walks, shopping, and travel too! I’ve traveled with it by myself twice and both gate checked and checked it. It’s been everywhere with us!
USING THE VISTA WITH THE MESA:
Gone are the sweet days when we could just stroll Jett around in his car seat, but boy were they amazing! He prefers the RumbleSeat for long walks now, but we still use the car seat in my car at home. The stroller base of the VISTA is so easy to fold and use and the car seat just pops right on so easily. For our recent trip to Seattle, I checked the MESA in the UPPAbaby travel bag. Skyler and I took an Uber to Ballard one day to meet friends and were pleasantly surprised when we were able to tuck the car seat underneath the RumbleSeat! This was amazing because we walked around Ballard and went to a brewery and having to sit the car seat on the ground when it was raining (or just carrying it around in general) wasn’t ideal. The car seat fit in the basket below and we still had room for Jett’s diaper backpack!
TRAVELING WITH THE VISTA:
The first time I traveled with the UPPAbaby VISTA I didn’t get the travel bag in time and just used a generic one that I found on Amazon. HUGE mistake. The bag I bought broke and unfortunately the leather handles on the stroller were kind of scuffed.
The second trip I took with the VISTA I got the travel bag and I’m SO HAPPY I did! First of all, it is just so nice to be able to check your stroller in a bag that it fits perfectly into. The Travel Safe program also gives you peace of mind because if the stroller is damaged, it will be replaced! The same goes for the car seat that I also checked for our Seattle trip.
As for using the stroller travel bag in the airport, I wouldn’t recommend it if you’re flying alone. On the way to Seattle, I put the stroller into the bag at home and had it ready to go the night before. I had a layover but it wasn’t a long one so I didn’t want to worry about taking the stroller out, putting the back 2 wheels on and then getting to our next gate. On the way back, we did gate check the stroller since Skyler was with us! Skyler was able to put the stroller into the bag while I got everything together to board the flight. If you have a long layover and you aren’t traveling alone I would definitely recommend gate checking the stroller. It’s so much easier to have a stroller in the airport as your baby gets bigger!
STROLLER ACCESSORIES:
I love how many accessories are available for the UPPAbaby VISTA! Right now we have the Snack Tray attachment on the RumbleSeat and this was a LIFESAVER during our recent trip to Seattle! We used the stroller as a high chair too many times to count. Jett basically had snacks in his tray the entire trip- ha! We also love the organizer because it can hold two coffees plus some extras like a phone. I also love that this organizer has a zippered pouch where I can put my wallet! We also have this really cute seat liner from last year’s Nordstrom Anniversary Sale. It isn’t available right now, but they do have a solid gray one on Amazon!
Overall, I couldn't recommend this stroller and the travel bags more. We absolutely love every UPPAbaby product we've bought so far, you can also check out my review of the MINU here!
