Since so many of you are at home with your little ones during this difficult time, I wanted to put together a post with as many toddler activities I could find and come up with. I hope this is helpful to you and your family during this time and I want to thank everyone who sent me ideas over on Instagram! We are in this together, mamas! Stay strong and let me know if you try any of these ideas at home!
Scavenger hunt. Hunt for sticks. leaves, flowers, etc!
Playing outside naked. Jett’s favorite activity- LOL. Just don’t forget sunscreen!
Color sorting. Take a piece of colored paper and have them put toys and food items of that color on each piece of paper! This construction paper can also be used for fun crafts for older kids.
Sticky wall. Tape a piece of contact paper (sticky side out) to the wall. Your child can stick pom poms, pieces of yarn, etc. to their wall art! ***I recommend using painters tape to adhere the contact paper so you don’t have to worry about ruining the wall paint!
Toilet paper roll crafts. Make those empty tubes go to use! Is it just me or do you also get sad seeing an empty roll now? Make them happy again with these ideas!
Color Wonder markers. Mess free markers that only show up on color wonder paper!
Car wash outside. Wash their toy car (or your own) outside on a nice day.
Toy wash. Gather toys you can submerge in water and put them in the bathtub, sink, or a large plastic container. Wash and dry them.
Baking. It’s a great time to learn something new! Try making bread from scratch, cupcakes, or a healthier muffin recipe.
Cincinnati Zoo Facebook live. 3pm EST.
Stacking tupperware.
Scholastic online learning program. They are offering a free trial right now.
Picking weeds.
Paint with water. No mess! These are a great gift idea as well (you could save one for their Easter basket)!

Learn a new sport. You can get many of these toys on Amazon for affordable prices. This golf set is really cute as is this basketball goal!
Go on a “bunny hunt.” My MIL does this with her grandkids all of the time. They go out with flashlights and look for bunnies. The kids LOVE it! You could always look for bugs during the day, too.
