September is always an exciting time; football is back on, pumpkin spice lattes are back, and it’s time for sweater weather! The problem is that most places aren’t exactly cool enough yet (especially here in OC) to wear fall clothing. In today’s post I’m talking about the best way to transition your summer dresses into fall so you won’t overheat and your outfit will have all of the fall vibes you need!
BLANK NYC MOTO JACKET (wearing size S)
FREE PEOPLE CHAMBRAY BUTTERFLIES MIDI DRESS (wearing size S)
SEYCHELLES SANDALS (SIMILAR HERE)
The best part about this outfit is that you only need one key piece to transition your look into fall- a chic moto jacket! Moto jackets are probably my favorite layering piece ever. They’re flattering and add the perfect bit of edge to any outfit. I’ve had this suede one now for over 2 years and it still looks like it’s new. The price may seem high but trust me when I say it’s totally worth your investment and you’ll want to wear it all of the time!
This moto jacket comes in a couple different styles now and lots of beautiful colors. I love this green one that I snagged during the Nordstrom Anniversary sale. The Blank NYC version does run a little bit small so if you’re in between sizes or if you want a little room to wear sweaters underneath, I’d recommend sizing up. If you’re looking for a more affordable option for the Blank NYC moto jacket, I’ve linked some for you below!
