I'll have to admit, I've had a huge crush lately on midi dresses and skirts! Now that I've gotten that off of my chest, I wanted to talk about three ways to wear this fabulous BB Dakota Miriam Dress! Remixing a dress is much easier than you may think especially when adding in other prints. Keep reading for style tips to re-wear your summer dresses to get the most out of your wardrobe!

LOOK 1: GIRLS NIGHT OUT
Adding a striped tee shirt over this dress gives it a casual twist and the cutout back is a nice little surprise detail! Stripes and floral prints are always a match made in heaven when they're of similar color ways, especially black and white! These Seychelle sandals are a favorite of mine from last summer and lucky for me (& you!), they re-released them this spring! Hooray for super comfy heels!
Tying your tee in a knot at the waist mimics a crop top/high waisted skirt look and is a great way to re-style a dress when you "have nothing to wear"! This tee is technically a dress but for anyone over 5'6", I'd say it's a tunic at best. Since there is some extra fabric, I used a hair tie to knot the tee- so easy!

2. SUNDAY BRUNCH
Borrowing a denim shirt from your man's closet is yet another great way to get more wear out of a midi dress like this one! Roll up those sleeves, tie it at the waist, and you're all set! I opted for the same Seychelles sandals but for a chilly day, black booties would be a super chic option. I borrowed this denim boyfriend shirt from Mr. Jones for the 50th time (ok maybe the 6th), but there are lots of other options out there. I love the slit back detail and price of this one from Old Navy!

LOOK 3: DATE NIGHT
For date night, I'd let this dress do all of the talking and add a leather jacket if it's a chilly night. This shift dress is perfectly fitted, but not super tight like a bodycon dress, so it's actually really comfortable! These Topshop pumps add just the right amount of polish and a dainty necklace wrapped twice ups the cool factor.
I watched a bunch of topknot tutorials and did my best to create a messy topknot without feeling like it may fall down at any moment. I wasn't too sure about how I did until looking back at the photos and I actually really like it! Mr. Jones even told me he liked my "top bun," #winning!
