Dressing for the weekends isn't always glitz and glamour. Sometimes (ok always), you just want to be comfortable but look put together. That means sweats don't make the cut, but luckily there are a few items that you can add to your closet that will feel like sweats AND create uber chic weekend ensembles!

IT'S ALL ABOUT THE VERSATILE DRESS
A simple long sleeve dress will become one of your most worn pieces when you find the right one! The best part is that the one in today's post comes in two great colors and it also has a cute cutout in the back (but doesn't require a strapless bra- #yesplease)! A basic long sleeve dress can be layered so many different ways, it will keep you warm and you can wear it during the spring too!
ADD SOME TAILORED JERSEY
Jersey = sweatshirt material, but when you combine this comfy staple and tailored silhouettes, you have cozy chic pieces made for weekends! Case in point, this stretch ponte vest that I've worn countless times. It's SO soft, the color is perfect and it's super flattering!
BOOTIES, BOOTIES, BOOTIES ROCKIN' EVERYWHERE
Simple ankle booties with a reasonable heel (or none at all) are the key to casual weekend outfit success! They're just as comfy as flats but more importantly, they keep your toesies warm! I've wanted these TOMS booties since I wore my sister in laws similar (but way more expensive) Joie booties last fall. They're basically the same shoe but cost just over $100- now that is what I call a #fashionwin!
I hope you enjoyed today's style tips! Thank you so much for stopping by Me & Mr. Jones today, y'all!
