March is finally here and you're probably itching for some new threads. That makes two of us, but if it isn't in the budget or there is something else you're wanting more, I have good news for you! There are so many ways to freshen up your baby blues that won't cost you a thing and today I'm going to share three with you! Keep scrolling to see them all!
1. DIY DESTROYED
It's no secret that I'm a huge fan of distressed denim, but the perfect pair is hard to find! If you're petite, the knee holes might hit you in a weird spot or maybe you don't like pairs that have rips on the thighs. That is why DIYing your own pair is the perfect solution! My favorite methods are using tweezers to take out threads (explained on this blog) and using sandpaper to distress the seams and pockets.
2. RAW EDGES
This trend has made its way to the mainstream, but you don't have to wait to find the perfect pair in stores! You have two options to DIY this on a pair you already have:
- Un-hem a pair of your skinny ankle jeans with a seam ripper.
- Cut the hem off of a pair of your jeans. Make sure you reinforce the side seams so they don't start unraveling!
3. CUFF THEM!
This trick is so easy and there are so many ways you can roll up your jeans! Don't underestimate these simple tricks as they can transform your whole look and breathe new life into your denim. Find 6 different ways to cuff 'em up here!
