I was born and raised a UK Wildcats fan in Lexington, Kentucky. Both Mr. Jones and I went to different universities (I am a proud graduate of the University of Cincinnati DAAP program), however we remain devoted to our home team. This explains why this vintage Kentucky sweater is indeed the most coveted item in my closet. Not only is it a rare find, but I get compliments on it all of the time! Since stumbling upon this unique piece of Wildcat history, I have been on the lookout for a similar varsity sweater that would fit Mr. Jones. I haven't found one yet, but that doesn't mean I can't make one! Below you will find a list of items to make your own varsity cardigan. If you aren't keen on sewing the patch on yourself, take the cardigan and patch to your local tailor for a small fee. If you create your own varsity cardigan, tag @meandmr.jones on instagram, I would love to see how you show your school spirit!

Pop The Champagne

Christmas may be over, but New Year's Eve is just around the corner! I can't think of a more perfect occasion to wear this adorable t-shirt from T & J Designs. You can dress it up with sequin bottoms, dress it down with your favorite skinnies, and wear it again on a special day (or just to brunch)! It would also be a great gift for any bride-to-be or birthday girl. Either way, you'll be getting the party started in style! Cheers to a happy and healthy 2015!
Winter Giveaway!

I was apprehensive about the blanket scarf trend, but after wearing this one on a snowy day I am hooked! It kept me warm and I felt incredibly cozy. I actually love this scarf so much that I will be giving one away to one lucky reader! You can enter for a chance to win this H&M scarf AND my new favorite MAC lipstick on Instagram (username: meandmr.jones)!
I'm also loving pastels this winter and cannot get enough of this lovely ballet pink Old Navy jacket. You can dress it up or down and the color is subtle enough to wear with almost anything. Stay warm and have a Merry Christmas!
MRS-tletoe Maxi Skirt
Every year, I get my tinsel all in a tangle trying to find the perfect party dress. This year, my Christmas wish was granted when I found the most beautiful mistletoe green maxi skirt. To keep my look merry and bright, I paired it with my favorite MAC lipstick, a long sleeve crop top, and some spunky leopard pumps. Bring on the martinis and mistletoe!
P.S. I’ll be posting more about my monogrammed gift wrap and our holiday décor soon!

Very Merry
We've all done it. We stop by Target to pick up a few things, and end up spending well over $100. That's exactly what happened on my last trip to Tar-jay, but how cute is this sweater?! It also comes in men's and both are now on sale. Happy Holiday shopping!

Three Months
For my first post on Me and Mr. Jones, I decided to wear something that reminded me of our wedding day (only three months ago today)! I wore this same Free People slip while getting ready for our wedding, and every time I wear it I'm reminded of the excitement and joy I felt on that day. There are so many ways to wear this slip year-round and it is incredibly comfortable to boot!
My first blog post wouldn’t be complete without introducing Mr. Jones! Skyler and I love to surprise each other with little gifts on a whim. He had wanted a darker denim shirt for fall and after shopping several stores, I found a great one at TJMaxx. Here he is right before our date night at The Flipside in Nashville’s 12 South neighborhood. So delicious!
